Other Protected Entities

In order to provide interference protection, White Spaces devices that are not currently recorded in FCC databases will have the opportunity to register their device in the future TV Bands Database.  Database Service Providers will be announced by the FCC in the June/July 2010 timeframe.

Once registered, the interference protection rules appropriate to each device will be applied.

Devices include:

• Cable Television Headends

• Class A Television Station Receive Site

• Low Power Television Station Receive Sites

• Television Translator Station Receive Sites

• Low Power Auxiliary Stations
